Terenure Swimming Club in Dublin have an opening for a Swim Ireland Level 2 Swimming Coach to join the team as an Assistant Coach.
Reporting to: Head Coach and Club Management Committee
Qualifications Required (essential):
- Minimum of Swim Ireland Level 2 Swimming Coach
- Up to date Swim Ireland / Sport Ireland Safeguarding Level 1 certification
- Up to date Garda vetting through Swim Ireland
- Current Swim Ireland coach licence
- Up to date CPDs
Qualifications desired (not essential):
- Level 2 Swimming Teacher certification
- Strength & Conditioning Certification (CSCS, UKSCA)
Job Spec
Assistant Coach role
3 – 5 coaching sessions per week + Administration duties (Approximately 10 hours per week) ++ Gala assistance (desired)
Payment
€30 per coach session / €20 per learn to swim session
€ TBC Administration duties contract
Skills required:

Skills desired:
- Sufficient with Excel / PowerPoint
- Knowledge of programming swimming training plans (mesocycles – macrocycles)
- Able to use Performance Analysis software (NacSport, Dartfish etc)
